Crossing Sports,
Shaping "Interconnect" Minds

I love many different kinds of sports — snowboarding, football, surfing, rowing, climbing, golf… you name it. If you let me talk, I could go on all day, sharing stories about every game I’ve played and what each one has taught me.

But what fascinates me the most is how different sports are actually connected. I enjoy applying the skills I learn from one sport to another. When catching a pass near the end zone, I tighten my core the same way I would during a 360 spin in snowboarding: catch the ball in midair, pull off an almost impossible flip, tap the pylon, and soak in the cheers.

In countless moments like “the back and leg strength I built from rowing helps me pull off more dynos on the rock,” or “the carving tricks from snowboarding making my cutbacks steadier on a wave,” no doubt,

sports shaped who I am.

Now, I’m not only transferring athletic skills, but also using cross-disciplinary thinking to build more complete and effective solutions to the problems I see.
